The Miss Niger Delta Peace Cultural Pageant is an annual event organised by Miss Niger Delta Beauty Pageant International; an organisation that is duly registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) of Nigeria, with RC No. 404,688. The organisation is also registered with the Federal Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Copyright Commission of Nigeria, and trademark endorsement of Ministry of Commerce and Industry with the organisation having the proprietary right as proprietor of Miss Niger Delta Beauty Pageant.

The Miss Niger Delta Beauty Pageant Organization has successfully organized the event for the past 16 years since its inception in 1999. The Body is duly registered with the CAC, Ministry of Youth Development, the Copyright Commission and the Trade Mark. Federal Ministry of Tourism, Culture and National Orientation and National Council for Arts and Culture. The object of the Organization is to promote peace, socio-cultural integration, tourism, empowerment, talent development and support for good policies and programmes of the organized private and public sector.

The vision of the organization is to embark on programmes that would add value to the lives of female youths of Niger Delta and at the same time impact positively on the Niger Delta region.

The central objectives of the Miss Niger Delta projects focuses on the following:

Promotion of re-orientation of values & attitudinal change amongst the youths and people of Niger Delta

Promotion of peace, love and harmony in the Niger Delta.

Promotion of peaceful co-existence amongst people of Niger Delta and other regions in Nigeria and with investors and tourists.

Promotion of investment and tourism activities in the Niger Delta especially in oil/gas sector, construction, communication etc.

Promotion of socio-cultural integration.

Promotion of youth development, capacity building, empowerment and economic emancipation.

Talent discovery and talent development.

Protection of the Niger Delta environment.

Promotion of participation of youths of Niger Delta in various people oriented programmes of government and non governmental organizations such as:

Politics, peaceful elections and democracy.

Health, environmental protection and sanitation.

Community self help projects.

Early education.

Entertainment and tourism activities.

Skills acquisition, entrepreneurship business activities.
