We are most pleased that the Miss Niger Delta pagent which started in 1999 is adding value to life through our projects and training programmes at the camp.
Our sensitization programmes have been of immense benefits to the contestants and participating delegates; re-orientation on values, attitudinal change, capacity building, talent discovery, skills development and education of female youths of Niger Delta on self reliance, hard work and empowerment has been most motivating and fulfilling especially in the following areas:
(i) Small Business Ventures away from oil and gas that can succeed in the Niger Delta
(ii) Feasibility study approach to harness the tourism and investment potentials in the region.
(iii) Securing of funds to start a business
(iv) Corporate Affairs Commission requirements for business name

UNIQUENESS OF THE MISS NIGERIA DELTA BEAUTY PAGEANT
The Miss Niger Delta Beauty Pageant is not just about funfair of providing entertainment and crowning of beauty queens in the Niger Delta. This initiative is packaged to encourage our talented young girls in the Niger Delta to participate effectively in the promotion of re-orientation of our cultural values, attitudinal change, peace, investment, entrepreneurial business skills, education, talent development, capacity building and sustainable development in the Niger Delta.

Over the years, the emerging beauty queens have been involved in programmes that have impacted positively on the lives and communities in the Niger Delta.

HIV/AIDS & Breast Cancer Awareness
Promotion of Early Education amongst children in the Niger Delta
Talent discovery, talent development and skills acquisition
Environmental protection campaign, sanitation and public health initiative such as MALARIA CONTROL PROGRAMME & CLEAN STAY CLEAN PROJECT.
Campaign against indecent dressing, prostitution and social vices.
Campaign for protection of oil/gas economic installations and protection of public infrastructure in Niger Delta communities.
Help the child and social rehabilitation projects.
Counseling / Advocacy programmes on sickle cell.
Campaign for democracy, mobilization for participation in election and campaign against election violence and fraud.
Youth development, capacity building, entrepreneurship business skills and empowerment initiatives: Niger Delta Business Expo.
Charity work, care for the elderly and orphans.
